Curtis Bledsoe is a DJ, producer, vocalist, and A&R operating across underground house and techno. Based in the Netherlands, he is A&R at Fresca Recordings and the curatorial engine behind the New Normal event series, working across releases, artist development, and live programming.
His current momentum is defined by documented international retail response. The latest Fresca Recordings cycle [FR-51] achieved full sell-through, including deejay.de and Dancing Vinyl, with restock demand from Freestyle Records Tokyo and initial allocation exhausted at Word and Sound under Groove distribution.
As a songwriter and vocalist, Bledsoe authored and performed “Come and Take It” and “We Outside.” The latter appears on DJ JES’s Raised By Machines, a project recognized by Juno as a career milestone.
His live work is built on curation and repeat booking. Through New Normal, he has delivered six successful editions across Austin and Chicago, including a recent launch event at Arbella. From 2021 to 2024, he also curated and performed over 15 dates with System Nightlife in San Antonio, appearing alongside DJ JES, Camilo Gil, and Chris Kiser.
In the Netherlands, Bledsoe was an on-air personality at Amsterdam’s Most Wanted (2016–2021), curated Code Oranje (2016) with Simon Titus, Menno Overvliet, and Tommy Largo, and appeared at ADE 2015 (Amsterjacked), ADE 2018 (House BrigADE at The Butcher), and Club NL / The Day After (2019).
His foundation traces back to the 1990s in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where he developed a vinyl-driven DJ approach and early production sensibility that still shapes his current cross-market activity. That foundation includes the once-obscured 2006 deep house standout "The Light (Screwed In Remix)" on Soulsupplement, the imprint he co-founded, which received support from West Coast heavyweight Doc Martin at Fabric London in 2007.
